A journey of building partnerships and delivering professional dental care with dignity.

2009 Where it began
Volunteers, donated supplies, and a crowd of children who had never been seen by a dentist. The first missions were built on little more than willingness and a suitcase of instruments.

The need Why this work exists
Untreated decay is pain a child carries into every classroom and every meal. This is the condition our clinicians meet, and the reason care is given free and given properly.

Kibera, Kenya Meeting people where they live
Care delivered inside the community rather than waiting for the community to reach a clinic. For most families here, a dentist had never been within reach.

Free medical camps Alongside local clinicians, never around them
Every camp was run with local medical staff sharing the work. That single principle is the reason the care outlasted the visits.

Word travelled Hundreds at a time
What began as a handful of appointments became lines of children waiting through the day for a chance to be seen.

2014 Beyond Kenya
The model travelled to Central America. The same standard of care, and the same refusal to ask a family what they could afford.

Building New Hope Clinic goes up
A timber frame, block walls, and a dental chair standing in the open before there was a roof over it. Permanent infrastructure, built with partners who intended to stay.

Open A clinic with a front door
Posted hours, a permanent address, and care available year-round rather than only when a mission team happened to be in the country.

Opening day The ribbon
Partners, clinicians, and community leaders at the doors on the day they opened. The clinic was handed to the people who would go on running it.

Sustainable impact comes from communities leading their own dental care. We are not accepting new training program placements at this time, and we look forward to reopening this work alongside the right long term partners.

Kenya is the foundation we built on. The Dominican Republic and St. Lucia are the regions we are planning toward next.
